Some folks are saying that Ubuntu 9.10, the Karmic Koala, will have a "feminine touch". It's probably a good idea :) to tell you the truth, when I found out that 9.10 was named Koala my thoughts were something like "hmmm my wife might want this... a cute koala. Probably gonna upgrade for 9.10". Well... ladies and gents, it looks like I'm more curious about the Koala than she does. Maybe it's my feminine side :D

Anyway, if you read Shuttleworth announcement:

"The desktop will have a designer's fingerprints all over it - we're now beginning the serious push to a new look. Brown has served us well but the Koala is considering other options"

So, I don't know about the Koala but it sure looks like Ubuntu is getting a fresh new stylish look... 9.04 isn't here and I'm already waiting for 9.10!
